Requirements

Minimum monthly salary of TZS6 million

An average balance greater or equal to TZS80 million or EUR/GBP/US$30,000 within 6 months

    • Valid identity card (driving licence, national ID, passport or voter's ID)
    • Introduction letter from employer, from local government or from lawyer
    • Residential address letter from local government or utility bill receipt
    • Completed account opening application form

  • Fees

    •  Monthly maintenance fee
      A bundled monthly maintenance fee of TZS 50,000 (or the equivalent in USD, GBP, or EUR) applies if your average monthly balance is below USD/GBP/EUR 30,000 or TZS 80 million. If your balance is above this amount, the fee is waived.

    • International money transfers (Outward Telegraphic Transfers)
      A fee of 0.30% of the transfer amount applies, with a minimum charge of USD 60 and a maximum charge of USD 150 (or the equivalent in TZS, GBP, EUR, ZAR, or KES).

    • Foreign Currency Account cash withdrawals at a branch
      Cash withdrawals over USD/EUR/GBP 10,000 are charged at 1% of the withdrawal amount, capped at USD 150 (or the equivalent in the account currency).
