How to register/log in
  • How to register (new user)

    1. Visit www.absa.co.tz
    2. Click logon next to the search tab
    3. Click register
    4. Enter customer information and accept the terms and conditions
    5. You receive OTP via SMS
    6. Enter the OTP and click next
    7. Create username and password on the password confirmation screen
    8. Click next
    9. Set a minimum of 3 SQA, then confirm
    10. You will see a confirmation screen and your registration is complete
How to purchase electricity
  • How to buy electricity

    1. Visit www.absa.co.tz
    2. Click logon next to the search tab
    3. Click login
    4. Enter username and password and click log in
    5. Enter SQA and click next
    6. Select 'transfer and payment' tab
    7. Select 'pay a bill' on the right of the screen
    8. Select payee, click next and enter amount (for registered biller)
    9. For a new payee, Select New Payee then select electricity under biller type and select  LUKU or IBE as per your choice
    10. Enter meter number
    11. Select Add to my payee list and enter payee nickname (if you want to add to my Payee list) then click next
    12. Enter amount and click next
    13. Review and confirm transaction details
    14. You will see a confirmation screen and your transaction is complete

  • How to do a fund transfer (Absa to Absa)

    1. Visit www.absa.co.tz
    2. Click logon next to the search tab
    3. Click login
    4. Enter username and password and click log in
    5. Enter SQA and click next
    6. Select 'transfer and payment' tab
    7. Select account you want to transfer funds from
    8. For registered payee select payee nickname under Domestic Absa Accounts list and click next then enter amount, payment description and click next
    9. Select Add to my payee list and enter payee nickname (if you want to add to my Payee list) then click next
    10. Review and confirm transaction details
    11. You will see a confirmation screen and the transfer has been successful
  • How to do bank to wallet transfers

    1. Visit www.absa.co.tz
    2. Click logon next to the search tab
    3. Click login
    4. Enter username and password
    5. Enter SQA and click next
    6. Select 'transfer and payment' tab
    7. Select 'pay a bill' on the right of the screen
    8. Select a payee, click next and enter amount (for a registered biller)
    9. For a new payee, select mobile wallet under biller type and choose the respective MNO under Biller
    10. Select other mobile number under Top-up
    11. Enter mobile number, select add to payee list and provide payee nickname if you wish to add the beneficiary
    12. Enter amount then lick next
    13. Review and confirm transaction details
    14. If transfer is made to an exisiting payee, transaction will be successful.
    15. If transfer is made to a new payee, an OTP will be sent to the customer to validate and the transaction will be successful
